3-D Home Inspection

We inspect for what you don't expect!

Buying your dream house is an exhilarating and fantastic investment opportunity, while simultaneously being nerve-racking and stressful. It’s a challenge not to be overwhelmed by all of these emotions, but one way to deal with them it to focus on your priorities. When looking for your dream house, livability is undoubtedly the number one overall characteristic that comes to mind. Coming in a close second is likely durability – meaning the condition of the various systems and components of the house. That’s really just as, and maybe even more important.

Luckily, you don’t have to worry about that by yourself. 3-D Home Inspection, Inc. takes a long, hard, thorough look at the durability of your new home. Of course, any new home inspector can find obvious problems, but it takes a trained eye to notice the subtle indicators that some problems may exist. When you work with 3-D, you are working with an inspector with 10-plus years’ experience as a home inspector, meaning that looking for problem indicators is second nature to me.

My home inspection will provide you with the information needed to make an informed decision about the property. My communication with you, both on the inspection and in the report (which is typically emailed out the next business day), is provided in a clear, concise, professional manner. During the home inspection, which you are strongly encourage to attend, I will explain the differences between maintenance or small repairs, corrective action (commonly called repair or replace), safety hazards, and upgrades. Often the inspection more than pays for itself by allowing you to renegotiate your contract if needed, obtain repair credit, or have identified items repaired by the seller before the closing. And even on an as-is sale, you can approach the closing table fully informed as to what you are buying.

Some people mistakenly presume that all home inspectors are created equal and allow the price to be the determining factor. Many calls I receive are from people "shopping" for a home inspection. Often their first, and sometimes their only, question is, "How much will the inspection cost?" As with all purchases, price is a consideration, but whether you are buying shoes or a home inspection, there are other factors that should be given equal – or even greater – consideration when making this decision.  So, if you’re ready to buy, book your inspection or call me at 630-392-4278. I’m ready to help you make sure you know what you’re getting. That way you can minimize the stress and maximize the exhilaration!
